We have 3 children, rescue and foster dogs from time to time and I am currently studying at university. View More

R.J's Story

R.J. is a sweet and gentle 12-year-old who lives just a few miles northeast of Sacramento, California. He looks like someone who could play as a ‘Niners Linebacker, be a world-class surfer, or even the doctor whose research helped defeat the disease which now threatens his life! His mother, Janice, is the owner and operator of a small family business, a pet grooming parlor in Citrus Heights, California, through which she has shared her love for the pets (her clients’ “babies”) in her community for many years. View More

Tamara's Story

I am a young mom to 4 children and wife to Joel. After ten years of not having any answers. I have a rather large cyst and tumor in the deepest part of my brain that will need brain surgery to remove it. Treatment that follows will depend on pathology. There are few neurosurgeons willing or able to do this sort of deep brain surgery. There will be expenses for travel, food, lodging, upfront payments, medications, etc before, during, and after surgery since I must stay local for quite some time after release from the hospital. There are also expenses to fly in family to help care for our four kids.  View More

Jacinta's Story

Jacinta's Pineal Cyst: The first time i experienced an out of the ordinary pain was in end of July start of august, I'd already had headaches for about 3 weeks and i was driving home from work which id left early anyway because of the headache. While driving my ears started to ring like a high pitched static, then my eyes started to blur very quickly. I pulled over as best as i could but by that point my nose was bleeding, i tried to reach for something to cover it but found my left arm wouldn't move. I tried to get out of the car only to realize it wasn't just my arm that wasn't moving it was the whole left side of my body.  View More

Sara's Story

We are a relatively young (she 36, he 42) couple, and newlyweds. Since our marriage, it seems that we have hit a string of bad luck. First, I had a heart attack on black Friday of 2012. I have recovered from that. Next, in Aug 2013, my wife found out that she not only had a hole in her heart (PFO), but also a Pineal cyst. She was having vision problems and severe headaches. In October of 2013, we were in a car accident. We both suffered concussions. She also sustained lower back, neck, and shoulder injuries....  View More

Courtney's Story

Please help us raise the urgently needed money to help our 15 year old daughter Cortney, get the medical treatment and rehabilitation support she desperately needs to treat her Pineal Cyst/Tumor and live a normal life.
Since the age of 2 Cortney's health has been a roller coaster ride with more "down's than ups". Constantly suffering from debilitating migraines and other medical problems, Cortney was referred to specialists at PMH for treatment and management.
An MRI in 2008  found an "incidental pineal cyst" but it wasn't until a few years later that we were informed of it!

Tiffany's Story

In 2006 Tiffany began having severe migraines, black outs, and seizures. More recently she has been diagnosed with a pineal cystic tumor the size of a marble. Within a matter of months her quality of life has drastically declined. This tumor has caused her memory loss, speech impairments, chronic headaches, head pressure, sleep deprivation, sensitivity to light and heat, extreme fatigue, dizziness, and nausea. There are only a few doctors in the U.S. that successfully perform the surgery to remove this tumor and prevent brain damage. This requires Tiffany to fly to Texas and be there for at least one month. Please help our friend Tiffany and her family cover the expenses not covered by insurance.
